  personally i wouldn't go down the route of tour rider, although you could bt his lack of hl, cl and dh is a bit of a let down, as they can only be at best; 69, 69, 49
  
  thats not too bad as he could redime himself the the tts but with a potential of just small...I'd try and make him a domestique for your cobblers

  I do not know yet. Do you consider him good enough te be trained as such? I've never had a tour rider before, so I would need some advice on how to train one.
